Headquartered in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, Alpina was founded by watchmaker Gottlieb Hauser in 1883. The brand proved popular with aviators throughout the 20th century, due to its reliable and distinctive pilot’s watches. Alpina created its first in-house movement in 2008, cementing its place in luxury watchmaking.
